With his master degree in Mechanical Engineering Mr. Zimmermann spent 21 years in the IT industry. He served 18 years as Managing Director (MD), including 11 years as a sole MD. During his career, he spent almost equal periods at American, German and French privately held and public corporations and groups (Atos). Besides managing the day-to-day operations, Mr. Zimmermann gathered comprehensive experience in M&A and Corporate Finance transactions and as member of several Advisory Boards. Mr. Zimmermann is founder, shareholder and Managing Partner of BW ALBATROSS INVEST. He is an investor with a focus on commercial real estate as part of his family office.

With a Bachelor of Commerce in the Insurance Industry, Mr. Schlensog began a 25-year career with ATS, the company he founded and developed as a leading broker agency for industrial insurance. As owner and CEO, he lead the company until its sale to Aon Corp. He also spent 8 years as a Member of the Board of the Insurance Industry Association VDVM in Germany. In 1987, he founded the International Broker Association IBA / Brussels, which he lead until 2004. After the sale of ATS to Aon Corp., Mr. Schlensog served as Managing Director at Aon Jauch & Hübner GmbH, responsible for their Industrial Markets operations. In October 2009, he was appointed Partner. Mr. Schlensog is shareholder and Managing Director of BW ALBATROSS INVEST.

After completing a degree in business administration and tax specialist training in Germany, Mr. Bauer spent 8 years with various consultancy firms in the field of tax and auditing. During this time, Mr. Bauer also completed degrees as a CPA and tax accountant. In 1988, he joined a small accounting firm, which over the years he has helped build into a leading company with over 200 employees. As the largest shareholder of this company, Mr. Bauer provides mid-sized companies with tax structure, M&A, corporate finance, and corporate management services. His company, BW Partner, has been repeatedly honored with “Top tax consultants of the year” award by the German magazine Focus. Mr. Bauer is a shareholder and Senior Partner of BW ALBATROSS INVEST.

With a master degree in International Management, Mr. de Faria e Castro has worked in corporate finance with DuPont de Nemours. For the past 20 plus years he has gathered extensive expertise as Managing Director, CEO or owner of numerous entities within the field of real estate development, manufacturing and distribution, financial investments, as well as consulting. His international career has taken him to France, Russia, USA and Germany. Currently Mr. de Faria e Castro resides and works in the USA as CEO / President and shareholder of BW ALBATROSS INVEST America.

Mr. Cheng started his career after his Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Economics as a Management Trainee at Allianz Headquarter in Munich. In 2006, Allianz assigned Mr. Cheng to China to set up branches in Sichuan and Beijing in addition to the company IPO. Before joining BW ALBATROSS he was working as Chief Representative of the Allianz Group in China. Mr. Cheng joint BW ALBATROSS as Associated Partner and Representative for China.

Jens Wünscher has an accreditation as a lawyer. After several years at leading law firms, he joined the Baden-Württembergische Bank, where he worked for 17 years. His responsibilities included syndicated transactions, mergers & acquisitions and corporate loans. Besides positions as Managing Director at several subsidiaries, Mr. Wünscher served 13 years as Managing Director of the bank and leasing operation (WKV Group) and at GE Bank (later GE Money Bank), before joining BW ALBATROSS INVEST as Partner in 2006.

Mr. Haller started his career at the German Fraunhofer Gesellschaft after completing a degree in mechanical engineering. During an 11 year period as sales manager and MD, he transformed a German midsize company (WAGNER Group GmbH) into an international player in Europe, Hongkong, China and United Arab Emirates. Afterwards he spent 3 years at a medium sized plastics-processing manufacturer (BULLYLAND AG) as CEO, leading sales and production units in Europe, Hongkong and the US. In 2009 Mr. Haller joined BW ALBATROSS INVEST as Associated Partner.

Subsequent to obtaining a degree in business administration at the University of Stuttgart, Mr. Olkus spent 4 years in a variety of positions with large corporations, including in England. After, he joined a mid-sized tax and auditing consulting company, while completing his degrees as CPA and auditing expert. He later became partner of this company. He is a co-founder of BW PARTNER and specializes in succession planning, company restructuring as well as tax structuring. Mr. Olkus is shareholder and Senior Partner of BW ALBATROSS INVEST.

After finishing his MSc in Finance in the UK, Mr. Bauer started his career at EY Transaction Advisory Services in 2007. While completing his PhD (UK) on valuation and distressed firms, he joined BW PARTNER. As a chartered tax accountant, he focuses on tax structuring, company valuation and due diligence. Dr. Bauer is an Associate with BW ALBATROSS INVEST.

Ms. Zimmermann holds a master’s degree in global management from the Thunderbird School of Management. During her masters, Ms. Zimmermann acquired professional experience conducting market analyses for commercial real estate development. More recently she was a project manager for the wealth manager Fisher Investments. She is now an Associate at BW ALBATROSS INVEST.

After graduating from high school, Frederik Huppert began his career at one of Europe's largest universal banks. With a focus on high-net-worth private and semi-institutional clients, Mr. Huppert was able to support them in various roles, most recently as an authorised signatory, in all relevant areas. In addition to further academic training, Mr. Huppert also gained qualifications in sustainable finance and has been able to contribute his experience as an analyst at BW ALBATROSS INVEST since September 2023.
